Panning in Times Square

DSC_2337

Ok – I know, I know… Times Square?  Not very interesting.  BUT, I think it’s one of the best places to take some great panning shots of cars, bikers, those bicycle-rickshaw things, etc.  The reason is because this place has LOTS of neon lights that add some great color to your background blur when panning.  I’ve tried other places, but for me, this is the place that adds that extra bit of pizzaz to your panning photos.

I’m heading out for the day soon and will be shooting some models for stock photos. Have any suggestions where we could get some nice settings for business/commercial type images? The girls will be dressed in business attire, etc. Thanks – I am going to try this panning in Times Square, also.
